I'm writing this while I wait in the doctor’s office waiting for our routine baby visit… and waiting, and waiting...
This is a reoccurrence for us—we wait a good 25 to 45 minutes before they actually get to us. (We're at 40 minutes right now.)
Sometimes waiting is a necessity in life—it teaches you things—but in this case, it's bad business. I want you to look at your life as the owner. Are you committed to consistency? Are you a person of your word? Are you dependable?
Faithfulness and consistency are the beginning steps to living a dream God can trust you with. Don't leave your commitments in the waiting room.

- Welcome to the Shelter (formerly ResQ student outreach). We are the youth ministry of Faith Family Church in Canton, OH. We are a gathering of young people who are dedicated to following the plan of God for our lives and seeking his presence no matter what. David wrote in Ps. 61:4- “Let me live forever in your sanctuary, safe beneath the shelter of your wings.” The Shelter is a place of refuge, comfort, joy, and most importantly a place where God is real. In our society where it’s hard to break away from the flow of society and stand for what is right and what is pure, we here at the Shelter do just that. We’re standing in the face of a culture that would love nothing more than to shut us up and put God in some stuffy back room in some tiny church for no one to hear about. We believe that we are here to enjoy the life God has given us and tell others about it.
